Brian is the manager of one of the Futon Expres stores.

Amanda is an exercise science major at Indiana University with a goal of obtaining her Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Rob will be a freshman at Mizzou and will be majoring in music with the intention of attending law school.

My parents are alive and well, still as much fun as ever. My father is still working five days a week and playing tennis.

How do you sum up 30 years in one paragraph?

I received my Degree in Elementary Education which I used for one year teaching 3rd grade before having my first child.

I raised three children and did this a single mother from the time they were 7, 2 and 6 months.

 I have been involved at my children’s schools serving in many capacities. I have worked on the PTO, chairing a committee for two years at the high school, three at the middle school and one at the elementary school. I have chaired a committee for Project Graduation for each of my children. And mostly, I have devoted countless hours to our Music Parents organization including a year as president. All three of my children have been very involved in the choir and show choir at Parkway Central and have all won awards.

While raising three children, volunteering and taking care of my house, I have also managed to work full time handling all of the Human Resources for a family business.
