I met my wife Donna at Rice University in Houston and we married in 1980.

I became a chemical engineer and have worked for Jacobs Engineering for a little over 15 years now. Jacobs is an engineering and construction company that designs plants for other companies to operate. I spend most of my time simulating plants on the computer. I am working mostly in the refining industry lately coming up with a plan to meet the new low sulfur diesel specifications. I have also designed chemical plants and 1 activated carbon plant in my career. I have spent time in Baton Rouge, LA; Bakersfield, CA; and Greenville, SC for my job. I have also traveled to Basel, Switzerland and Liepzig, East Germany for my job as well.

I still continue to swim 4 or 5 times per week and I play bridge whenever I can.
