Graduated with honors from CU Boulder (University of Colorado) traveled in Europe for a year before attending one year at SLU in Clinical Psychology. Moved back to Boulder and remained there off and on for about 10 years. Best friend: Mert! Highlights: A year ski-bumming in Vail, relationship with Lynn, real estate sales, Dead shows at Red Rocks, fly-fishing, loved the mountain life!
Moved to California around 1985 and was there for about 8 years, worked together with Bob Moog at University Games! (I’m still a share-holder of University Games!) Became an independent sales rep in the toy business, covering the state of California. Girl friends...Lynn... Sue...Loved exploring California, Yosemite, Big Sur and the Entire Pacific Coast. Took in plenty of Dead shows (including lots of New Years Eve concerts!)
Moved to Prague, Czech Republic in 1992 and had my own small toy company (importing and exporting toys) before getting into the real estate business. What a thrill and the experience of a lifetime to live in Prague after the fall of communism! Highlights: Gorgeous women, world's best beer, great friends, speaking Czech… I bought an old historic building in Prague with some other Americans and we sold it for a nice profit a couple of years later to some guys in the Russian mafia. Lived in Prague for about six years before moving back to Boulder, Colorado. (Put my profits from the Russian mafia into a couple of nice homes in Colorado which I currently hold as rental properties.)
In Boulder/Denver in 1999, Got my brokerage license (Series 7) and worked for Charles Schwab for about 3 years before moving back to St. Louis to be a research analyst for Eidelman, Finger, Harris & Co. What an awesome job I have!
I have traveled the world and have not yet finished!
Currently, I am working in Clayton, living in University City (bought a house) and traveling as often as possible to exotic destinations. Will be spending July and August in Kiev, Ukraine!
Thanks to all of the people who have been so kind and supportive to me during the lead-up to the reunion. You have made organizing the CHS 30th Reunion such a pleasure and an unforgettable experience!
