Family

Ellen and I have been married for about half my life-16 years thanks to Jim Holtzman, a real shadchen (matchmaker)

Winnie Cooper-my dog with over 12,000 miles on her (time for an oil change) –a very dear  friend

CHS Memories (Friends, Funniest story, Teachers, Events, Activities, Sports, Songs, Would like to forget…, etc.)

Writing this after the reunion weekend is both good and bad.   The good is re-affirming memories and friendships from days gone by. Not so good is remembering memories that maybe are not so good.

IT was great hearing everyone’s stories: both the lies and sometimes the truth. Playing fuzzball even though the Davis Place guys did not show.  Fuzzball-the perfect game.

Somebody I spoke with was questioning what we got out of high school…I did not excel academically, but somehow I was more prepared for college than the next guy when I got there.  My high-school classmates challenged me with their successes: I learned to read (kind of), speak up in class and continue to learn from my mistakes. Monaghan even figured out how to get me (of all people) to Boy’s State  (I guess Moe was busy that summer).  Sports, the one thing I could excel in.  Discipline (yeah right) and a comradery that could never be replaced.

My other memories are not  only being surrounded by great friends, but the impact that men like my father (Mr. Morris), Dale Hovda, Dave La Driere,  Harold Sachs had not to mention other parents that set an example:   Dr. Cassell, the Slavins, George Thoma.

After High School (Career, Accomplishments, Favorite Activities, Message to classmates…, etc.)

I graduated from Wash U and pursued the great dream ever since.  Fortunes were made and lost, but I always learned to keep getting back up.

I currently work for First Horizon Home Loan Corp. a mortgage banker.

“May all your storms be weathered
and all that's good get better
here's to life, here's to love, here's to you.”

It was great to see and actually speak with my old chums, truly a great and bittersweet experience.  Thanks Andy!
