My husband and I are in the process of opening our own restaurant located in O’Fallon MO.  O’Fallon is the fastest developing community in the state of Missouri and was one of the 10 fastest developing areas in the US last year.  It is called Blue Sky Café and Bar and is located at 9999 Winghaven Blvd, about 1 mile North of Hwy 40/64 at the Winghaven Exit (right past the Winghaven Golf Course Club House).  It will be casual dining (American cuisine) with a large bar and outside patio which will open later.  We were hoping to be open in May but it may be closer to the first week in June or thereabouts (that is if things go as planned).  I hope those of you that live in town will come in frequently!  My husband will be “living” there and I will be helping out as much as possible.  I will still keep my job at Clayton High as Administrative Assistant to the AD. I have been at CHS for 16 years now …it has been fun working with many of our old teachers… but the only one left (Larry Baker) finally retired last year. Both my kids graduated  from Clayton and my oldest son is working as a substitute here while he finishes graduate school (wow I feel old) .. it is fun seeing some of our other classmates kids here as well.  A lot of us haven’t ventured far from home.
