Emily is looking forward to going away to college in 2005 and is seriously considering applying to Washington University.  She’s very involved in school activities including wind ensemble (clarinet); soccer, badminton, pep band, marching band.  She’s a great kid.

James has all the usual interests of an 11 year-old:  Nintendo, sports and instant messaging.  He also plays the violin.  He has tons of friends and has a wonderful sense of humor.

Sophie is our “nose with four legs”.  She is a true hound, able to root out even the tiniest morsel from between the sofa cushions.

CHS Memories (Friends, Funniest story, Teachers, Events, Activities, Sports, Songs, Would like to forget…, etc.)

Teachers:  Mr. Hovda, Mr. Baer.  The Alternative School faculty.  Friends:  Sally Mills, Janet Fisher, Ann Redington, Dave Weiskopf, Favorite events . . . The Depot ?? Isn’t that the name of the place where dances were held?  Activities ... going off-campus for lunch at Burger King, Posh Nosh, or spending our lunch money on penny candy at Spicer’s.  Would like to forget ...spending entire school days smoking cigarettes in the first floor girl’s john!

After High School (Career, Accomplishments, Favorite Activities, Message to classmates…, etc.)

I stumbled into the field of chiropractic by way of some chiropractic students I met at a party in about 1976!  After graduating from Logan College in 1981 I spent 3 years at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in a radiology residency.  We ended up in Minneapolis after that and we’ve been here ever since.  I’ve been teaching at Northwestern Health Sciences University for 18 years.  I’m active in University faculty issues, recently serving two terms as Faculty Senate President.  I love working with web site development and helping others improve their course syllabi and notes.

Our kids are the main focus of Jim’s and my life.  We supply the cheering section for their soccer, basketball, baseball, badminton and tennis games.  They’re both so much more academically mature than I was and it’s fun to watch them grow and mature and succeed.
