CHS Memories (Friends, Funniest story, Teachers, Events, Activities, Sports, Songs, Would like to forget…, etc.)
I did not actually graduate from Clayton but I’m very happy to be invited to the party. We moved to Ladue for my Junior and Senior years. Otherwise I was in the Clayton system from kindergarten. Most memories are from Meramec and Wydown. It’s funny but you question these older memories. For example I remember in 4th grade that Moog put disappearing ink on Ms. Apgar’s seat (Bob do you remember that?). She was really pissed. Did she have a sinus problem or what? Ms. Shurd in 6th grade told us that all college boys tuck their shirts into their underwear (Where did she go to college?). Bowling League at Crossroad with Glik, Eidelman, Pines (how many championships did we win?) Mr. Jones in 7th grade science telling us we get an automatic “F” if we try to light the gas from the valve. Train hopping-did we really do that?

After High School (Career, Accomplishments, Favorite Activities, Message to classmates…, etc.)
I had no idea what I wanted to do after high school. I went to Southwest Missouri State in Springfield and rediscovered my interest in science. After college I went to Ohio State University for the clinical psychology program where I developed an interest in sleep disorders and behavioral medicine. I then moved to Chicago for 2 years to train in sleep medicine and research at Rush-Pres. St. Lukes Med Center. My first job out was in Knoxville, TN and I later moved to Atlanta (15 years ago) where I direct a very active sleep medicine and research program. Our family loves to travel and we focus on outdoor activities. Other pastimes include: attending sporting events (mostly baseball), listening to live music (blues and jazz, drinking/collecting wine.
