I am married to Howard Schlansky, a pediatrician, and we have two daughters: Hannah, who is graduating CHS in June and will be attending University of Wisconsin-Madison in the fall, and Rebecca, who is a Junior at Barnard College in New York and will be graduating with a degree in American History and Education.

CHS Memories (Friends, Funniest story, Teachers, Events, Activities, Sports, Songs, Would like to forget…, etc.)
|
Always high on the memory list was Bobby Moog climbing up the Lessers tree onto their porch and into their room and gathering at Amy and Meg’s house! The greatest teacher memory was Dr. Morrison’s AP American History class!

After High School (Career, Accomplishments, Favorite Activities, Message to classmates…, etc.)

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Fine Arts, I received a Masters in Social Work from Washington University. My intent was to be a camp director in Wisconsin or Minnesota. Alas, this did not come to pass, but, the next best thing was right around the corner. Five years ago, I was asked to be a part of the process to create a Reform Jewish day school in St. Louis. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to work on a project which integrated the best of educational practices with my love for informal Jewish education. To make a long story short, I assumed the position of Assistant Head of School and we are about to enter our fifth year of operations! It is an amazing adventure, a magical place and I love it!
I am extremely proud of my family: my husband, Howard and our two daughters, Rebecca and Hannah, both of whom are CHS graduates! (Believe it or not, Rebecca had Mr. Baker for a history class!) Unlike me, they both took full advantage of what CHS had to offer!
It’s great to be in Clayton….always a great feeling of community, family and friends.
