Family

Jon and I have been married 26 wonderful years.  Our son, Matthew, will be 24 in September.  He graduated the University of Chicago in June 03, majoring in classics.  He has just completed an internship in advertising and is investigating Graduate School.  He is an accomplished Bagpiper, competing in solo competitions in the North American Games and travels to Scotland every summer for competition in August and September. Our daughter, Molly, is 20 and is a sophomore at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.  She is in their Media Fellows Program and is planning a career in broadcasting.  She is preparing for a semester in London with the BBC and would like to return to Australia for a year or two after graduation. Gladys, our Maltese, is 12 and follows me everywhere!

I love being a wife and mother!  I cherish the times spent volunteering at my children’s schools in the classrooms, sports, and parent’s associations.  I was in leadership in BSF for 16 years, created a children’s bible class curriculum, and taught a Woman’s Bible Study for 3 years.  Ministry Outreach has been the center of our lives.  I just completed my term as President of The Woman’s Exchange, a not for profit organization, and am currently the Chairman of the Board.  I love to cook, garden, and needlepoint, play tennis and golf, and dabble in interior design.  But most of all, I love being with my family.  Michigan and Hana, Maui are second homes to us. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the bio’s… Andy, great idea!!!  I can’t wait to see everyone!  (Elizabeth, this bio’s for you!!!)
